Cerebral Palsy Scotland

We are Scotland’s only cerebral palsy charity dedicated to providing specialist therapy and support for everyone affected by cerebral palsy at every stage of life. We help children and adults with cerebral palsy and their families by providing specialist therapy, support and information. Our groups and events reduce isolation, bringing people with cerebral palsy and their families together; our Support Service offers a listening ear and information. We share our knowledge and skills through courses, conferences and working collaboratively.

DriveAbility Scotland is a national provider of driving and mobility assessments in Scotland, operating as one of 20 accredited centres within the national Driving Mobility network.

We exist to remove barriers that prevent disabled people and those with medical conditions from achieving independent mobility. Our work focuses on ensuring that everyone can access safe, comfortable, and confident driving and travel options that meet their needs. Based in Glasgow, with outreach services in Aberdeen, Perth and Inverness.

DWP – Disability Services Advocacy Team

Our team are dedicated advocates of the Disability Services benefits and grants throughout Great Britain. Encompassing Personal Independence Payment, Disability Living Allowance, Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit, and Access to Work.

Our team offer a series of specialised awareness and upskilling sessions focused on these areas of Disability Services. We invite organisations and support providers to register for these events using their professional email addresses.

DWP will have Disability Employment Advisers available to provide advice, on support and benefits. DWP will also have a virtual DWP DEA from Northern Scotland to speak with anyone from the North of Scotland area to learn about local support available.

Sunny Cycles

Sunny Cycles is a charity which enables people of all ages abilities and backgrounds to participate in cycling and cycling activities. We teach adults and children to ride bikes, and a have a fleet of adapted bikes for those who are not able to ride a standard 2 wheeler. We have a hub at Glasgow Green and Victoria Park, and our bikes include fixed wheel trikes, handcycles, tandems, companion cycles and a velotransporter which takes a wheelchair on the front.
