With a busy show calendar behind us this Summer, we now focus on the Autumn season, with two more Kidz to Adultz Events – the first in Scotland on 14 September 2017, the second in Manchester on 16 November 2017.
The Safespaces team showcased the Safespace itself alongside the Safespace and Cosyfit Hi Lo bed options at the Kidz to Adultz South event that took place in Reading in June. Amanda Farrell, one of our Product Advisors, was at the show and gives us a little insight into what the Show is like and what you can expect from the forthcoming events.

The Show runs for just one day so it’s a hive of activity from 9am onwards! With visiting families, healthcare and occupational therapy professionals enjoying the event, it was well-attended, promoted and supported, with products, services and life-changing aids to help, inspire and improve the lives of children and adults, living with disabilities or complex needs.
The children were drawn to our Safespaces stand, not only by the colours, shapes and form of the products on show, but for a welcome place to escape the intensity, noise and activity of the show itself. Children could roam in the Safespaces, sit or just take time out – a bit of peace and quiet gained from the noise reduction within the Safespace itself.
One minute it was 10am – the next it was 3pm! It was a superb event, and also a great introduction to the Safespaces team for our new technician Alan McDermott.
The show was the perfect informal, friendly option for visitors to see products at first hand, discuss the options, meet the team and observe how their family members took to the Safespaces. It was an invaluable experience for us and hopefully the many people whose smiles we witnessed when they came to see us!”
